Our Team
We nurture lab members and improve as scientists
Associate Professor
Gal Haspel
Cat herder, former wasp milker, worm wrangler, neuroethologist, small-circuits riddle solver, refuter of hypotheses, and optics enthusiast.
When possible, also a kyudoka, a practitioner of taichi, and a left-handed épée fencer.
PhD candidate
Maria Belen Harreguy
Maria Belen loves romance novels, chocolate and Diet Coke. Most importantly, she loves science almost as much as she loves her chihuahua. When she's not spoiling her rescue pup she's in the lab lasering worms and watching their neurons regrow!
PhD candidate
Zainab (Zee) Tanvir
Zee likes to spend her time exploring the depths of tiny brains using expansion microscopy. When she isn't doing brain surgery she's out doing rocket science, probably. She is a firm believer in wearing colorful dresses to lab!
